Recently, so-called green roofs have become increasingly popular. Their main advantage is that they prevent roofs from overheating and thus maintain a favourable indoor climate. In addition, they also protect the roof waterproofing from negative weather effects such as frost, wind, hail, etc., thus extending the life of the roof itself.
Mr. and Mrs. Koza also decided to use a green roof on their family home. It is a flat roof with a layer of vegetation substrate and planted sedums. But the basis of every green roof is a well-made waterproofing. In this case, FATRAFOL 818 foil was used to insulate the roof, which is not only UV-resistant, but also certified against root ingrowth.
